Fire doors are an integral part of a building's fire safety requirements and critical to the life safety of the occupants of the building in the event of a fire.
At EFire we supply and install a complete range of new or replacement fire doors, including mechanical or electromagnetic door closers, intumescent seals and fire rated door hardware.
Our range of 30, 60 and 90 minute fire rated doors includes traditional and contemporary styles in a variety of timber finishes. Our trained carpentry team are competent in all aspects of fire door installations and are able to advise you on the best type of door to suit your individual property risk.
All products supplied and installed by EFire comply with the requirements of British Standard 476.
Planned maintenance of fire doors and fire door closers is required to ensure the integrity of the fire compartment is not compromised by ill-fitting or damaged equipment.
EFire provides a six monthly inspection service with particular attention being paid to the door closers, intumescent seals, hinges, latches and the fit of the door within the frame. To ensure the safety of your people any adjustment or alteration found necessary can be completed at the time of service.
To maintain the fire integrity of a building every opening, penetration, wall and floor joint must be sealed against the escape of smoke and fire.
EFire offer a range of passive fire seals, barriers, pillows and fire curtains to maintain the specified level of fire performance in accordance with the Building Regulations approved document B (2019) with amendments released in 2020 and British Standard 9999.
